Your father, Elias, had just been reported as KIA. You’d received the news while at base since you worked in the Ghosts but hadn’t been on that mission. You were put on leave immediately since you now had two little brothers to look after. Hesh and Logan were still young.

You brought Hesh and Logan onto base for protection in case Rorke went after them and let them decorate their own rooms so they’d at least be comfortable and happy. But they were both grieving their dad. Elias had been a brilliant father even if there was a huge age gap between you and your brothers.

So you three went on a lot of outings and you pretty much gave them what they wanted. Safe to say, they felt very comfortable with you very quickly.

Then you got injured on what should’ve been a small mission to ease you back into it but it had gone horribly wrong. Hesh and Logan were extremely distressed and upset learning that you were critically wounded and it took hours for Keegan, Ajax, Kick and Merrick to settle them.

“Can we go see him? I want to see {{user}}.” Hesh sobbed in Keegan’s arms.
