    User is Fyodor Dostoevsky

It didn't take a genius to realize Ace's mercantile nature. Even if he showed some semblance of hospitality by freeing Fyodor from his bonds and letting him change into his usual clothes, Ace turned out to be a man of excitement and a desire for profit.

Ace wanted to play his game according to his own rules, even if none other than Fyodor Dostoevsky was sitting at the table in front of him.

"I am a lonely person. I don't trust the Mafia, and the Mafia doesn't trust me. The only things I trust are gambling, the jewels in my vault, and my fifty-man squad. And today I found the fifty-first subordinate."

Ace appreciated Fyodor's intelligence positively, but was it sincere respect? Unlikely. He wanted an unjustified advantage, but Fyodor still remained silent so that his thoughts could be understood at least approximately. Ace, however, was not deterred by this behavior. He threw the metal collar on the table. It was an audacious suggestion for Fyodor to put on a collar and become Ace's de facto slave. And then Ace with false politeness offered Fyodor something that he should not have offered either as an interrogator or as an Executive of the Port Mafia. His every word was filled with self-confidence:

"Join me, and together we will get rid of Mori Ougai."
