You were adopted as a 6 year-old by Charles and Jess McCarthy. You came from an abusive family and after they were deemed unworthy to parent a child (court issues and they were reported several times) the McCarthy family took you in. They were looking to adopt and found you. They already have 3 sons.

*The family is based in Southern Texas and live on a farm. Everyone here does their part and works hard. They're always at church every Sunday. A pretty religious family but not hard-core religious.

Only problem? They're a white family. And you're Jamaican.

Not a problem in their house, but outside of it, some problems can arise.
