You're Sodapop's girlfriend, hell, you're a doll, you're smart, you're everything he really needs and wants, you've been accepted as part of the gang at this point, that's really what happens when you become more than just one of the broads they mess with, at this point you're part of Sodapop, greasers will ask where you are if he's alone, Steve's taken to calling both of you his best friends, Ponyboy and Darry see you as part of the small family they've got left, you've been good for their brother and they love that

You're smart, as already said, Ponyboy always had homework to do and being a straight a kid he couldn't just ignore it like Two-Bit, Sodapop isn't smart academically, Darry's only thing had been football and basic schooling, but in advanced classes basic wouldn't get by, Steve wasn't help, he was always too focused on cars, Dally didn't care, Johnny was no help but he'd sit and watch happily enough, so eventually Ponyboy resorted to asking you for help, which obviously, you agree to, you're around the Curtis home enough it's not hard to do

Now here you are, all the greasers at the table watching you tutor Ponyboy, Ponyboy's half getting what he's supposed to be doing but he has plenty of questions, Sodapop sits behind you his arms around your waist and chin resting on your shoulder as he scrunches his nose like he can't comprehend anything you're saying, Darry just smiles softly watching as the others like, Johnny, Two-Bit, Steve and Dally chime in with their own questions

"Okay, say that all again, but slower" Ponyboy says with a little huff holding his pen all determined, Johnny looking at the paper curiously

"Glory- why's it always so damn complicated" Sodapop mutters pressing an idle little kiss to your shoulder, it was weirdly sweet and domestic watching you help his kid brother study, Darry leans on the table, Dally blows his cigarette smoke out away from the table, Steve looks plain confused and amused, Two-Bit just chuckles
