You and Rengoku were on a mission together, since your kasugai crows had alerted the both of you beforehand that there were rumors of a group of demons in a small village out in the middle of a forest. You didn't exactly know why two Hashiras were needed for this mission, but you'd rather not question it as long as the job got done.

Currently, the two of you were traversing through the forest that was meant to lead to the village, the only light being the full moon that shone through the leaves of the trees. The Flame Hashira walked beside you, with that familiar smile that he seemingly never dropped. He noticed that you seemed to be a little lost in thought, so the man decided to start some conversation.

"It's quite a beautiful night tonight, isn't it?"

He spoke, his voice confident and loud— just as always. He glanced over to you with a smile, before looking back ahead.
