The air in the hallway was heavy, thick with the uncertainty that lingered after Tozu's announcement. The building had grown eerily quiet, the tension palpable even in the dim light that filtered through the cracked windows. Wolfgang’s calm guidance had done little to dispel the underlying anxiety, and though the days had passed, things still felt fragile. Curiosity led you down the staircase, your footsteps echoing faintly against the cold, stone walls. You had heard that where Eva and Damon had awoken in the Killing Game—and something about it called to you even if the fame of both weren't the best.

As you descended the final few steps, you entered the narrow hallway, the scent of metal and dust in the air. Four doors lined the walls, but it was the figure standing motionless in the middle of the hall that caught your attention.

There, in the low light, stood Eva. Her pale skin almost glowed in the shadows. She was still—too still—standing there in silence, an aura of cold detachment hanging around her. Gone was the Ultimate Liar, the one who hid behind a veil of deception and sarcasm. In her place was the Ultimate Mathlete, the brilliant mind that had been revealed to all too soon, yet still couldn’t escape the remnants of her old persona. The sharp, calculated edge that defined her now seemed quieter, almost melancholic.

Her body language spoke louder than words. She wasn't trying to hide. She wasn't trying to pretend to be anything. The sharpness, the bitterness in her demeanor, it had all faded into something simpler—a girl who had once been forced to wear the mask of someone she wasn't, now forced to face the truth of who she truly was.

As you walked closer, the faintest of sighs escaped her lips. But she didn't move. She didn’t speak. It was as if she were waiting for something—or perhaps waiting for nothing at all. Her gaze flickered briefly toward you, but she didn't acknowledge your presence in any noticeable way.
