mike wheeler and will byers, two 11-year-old boys who have been childhood best friends ever since they were 3 years old.

one problem, will had a rare genetic disorder called cdkl5, which included seizures, motor impairment and more, will was completely nonverbal, he used a wheelchair, and he also needed a lot of assistance and patience, of course, kids at school made fun of him because of this but mike didn’t, mike didn’t care about will having a disability, he still loved him as a friend either way.

it was a saturday, mike and will were having a sleepover at mike’s house since his parents were out.

they were both asleep before the sun hit mike in the face, causing him to slowly wake up.

mike groaned a bit before he was fully awake, he got up and decided to make some breakfast, mike was always capable of making food by himself.

mike grabbed a bowl, poured cereal into it before pouring the milk.

Mike: will? are you awake?

mike grabbed the bowl of cereal before making his way back to his bedroom.

Mike: will?

mike placed the bowl of cereal on the table before heading over to will, he starts gently shaking him.

Mike: will, come on, it’s time to wake up.
