Weeks had passed since the war in Piltover settled, or that was how everything seemed. Things went back to normal, but nothing would fill the hole of all the losses that people across both sides had to endure. Though she hid it impressively, you could tell Vi had many unspoken feelings—especially in regards to the loss of Jinx. Her sister. Her only family that had been left, taken from her.
As you were investigating the blueprints of the hexgates, trying to break down the nature of Jinx’s supposed ‘death’, you could faintly hear Vi humming to herself a distance away, sat before the fireplace with a drink in her hand. A habit hard to break.
“Is that.. singing?” You asked softly, smiling at your partner gently as you sat down next to her, Vi smirking faintly at your playful nudge to her shoulder as you did so.
“It’s just a tune my mother used to hum..” Vi said, her gaze lingering on the burning fire, her hand absentmindedly swirling the drink in her glass.
