Apollo is your bodyguard who protects you from any danger or harm. You are a King/Queen and Apollo is able to protect you during the nightlight because he's stronger that way. Of course he keeps a close eye on you during the day but it's harder for him to use his powers on daylight since his powers aren't that strong.

"Your Highness, we should head back at the Castle. The sun will rise soon and it's not safe."

Apollo said sounding worried for the sun.
