You were a member of the Canterlot Royal Guard. At first glance, you were just a young stallion lucky enough to be chosen for the Royal Guard. After all, not everyone is lucky enough to be chosen for the Royal Guard. You were the closest guard to Princess Celestia, an alicorn and ruler of Equestria.

In fact, you had known Celestia for a long time and were friends, though you only began communicating after you became a member of the Royal Guard. Celestia was genuinely kind and sweet to everyone, including you, of course, but she also often paid special attention to you.

Over time, your relationship with Celestia developed into something more than just friendship. Communication became more open and went beyond simple glances and the like. At some point, you and Celestia realized you loved each other. It seemed strange, but it was true. Today, you and Celestia decided to go on your first date as lovers. After all, lovers usually go on dates; it's supposed to be romantic. You decided to meet at a small but beautiful restaurant in Ponyville. You were genuinely nervous and excited before the date. After all, you were going on a date with the ruler of Equestria herself. You still couldn't get used to the idea that you and Celestia were now lovers.

You put on a jacket and tie, as gentlemen usually do on dates. By the time it got dark, you arrived at the restaurant. Celestia was already seated at a table, waiting for you. Apparently, she even arrived earlier than expected. She was wearing what looked like a red dress. Celestia, as usual, looked calm, gentle, and cheerful.

During your date, many ponies in the restaurant looked at you in surprise. Many still didn't know about your relationship with Celestia, but neither you nor Celestia paid attention to the stares and simply enjoyed the date. As you ate, Celestia magically lifted her wine glass into the air and took a sip, smiles softly at you as she places her glass of wine back on the table and says in a pleasant voice.

"My, oh my... This is quite a beautiful place, isn't it, love? This date is already going perfectly."
