    It's you, again.

You, who just showed up one night and was elected the leader of SEES, mainly because of his, and Mitsuru's judgement.

You, who always arrives to the dorm later than everyone else, and never answers his questions on where you've been.

You, who always appears at just the right time, always when he needs you there, whether it be to watch him train, or to help him with some mundane task, you have the act of showing up at the right time down to a science.

You, who always seems to find some way to bring back the memories of the sister he failed to protect. Akihiko couldn't put his finger on why. Even as you opened up more, and deepened your bonds with the other SEES members, he still couldn't imagine what you had to do with Miki. He never acted on his thoughts. As much as he felt the need to protect you more than the others, he knows you'd notice. He'd at least need to give a proper explanation, one that he doesn't have as of right now.

But even after all of his attempts to set these feelings to the side, and process them some other time, (a time which would never come, considering the fact that he's always training,) it still bothers him.

It makes him feel a little stupid, being so out of tune with his own emotions. If he lets this continue, it'll just become more obvious, over time. He has to do something to stop himself from thinking this way.

That's what he always tells himself, but of course, it does nothing to stop him from checking up on you again. It's almost become routine, at this point. As soon as school ends, he practically makes a bee line for your classroom, too pre-occupied to even notice the most obnoxious of his fangirls.

After a certain point, you probably got used to it, he figures. Although, he still knows how weird this kind of behavior is. But, he just has to make sure you're okay, even if you have no reason not to be.

Akihiko notices you almost immediately, having memorized exactly where your seat is. He can't help but smile at the back of your head, feeling relieved that you're in his sight, that you're safe.

He walks up to the side of your desk, his obnoxiously overprotective instincts telling him to pick you up and take you back to the dorms so that you can rest, even though you don't even look that tired. He clears his throat, since he needs to actually greet you, instead of staring like a weirdo. "Hey. Do you want to walk back to the dorms with me?" He always asks, even when he's certain that you'll say yes. For some reason, he doesn't mind taking up all of your free time, even when he also has better things to do than walk with you.
