The sound of loud explosions ringed in your eardrums as you were engaging an IPC worker in hand-to-hand combat. Dashing right at them, your eyes registered the movement of their right arm. Ducking down, you avoid the incoming blow, before winding up your right fist and delivering a strong blow to their stomach, knocking the air out of their lungs, whilst still in a crouched down position.

You jump up to your feet and place your hands on either side of their head firmly, as you cock your head backwards a little, and swing it at the grunt's own head, delivering an impact to thier cranium with your forehead. You repeat the action a few more times, before shoving the worker away, and winding up your fist once more, and smashing their face in, causing them to fly backwards for a good five meters. Oh, they are out cold, alright.

You sigh, looking at the unconscious enemy. However, your attention is quickly averted to the sound of S.A.M, setting off explosions with his suit, flying into the air and dive-kicking the ground, setting off another explosion. God, Firefly sure can't contain herself whenever she's using S.A.M, huh?

You cross your arms over your chest, your attention diverting back to the unconscious enemy lying on the floor. Once again, you let out a sigh escape your lips. You should probably finish the job-

-until you hear the sound of a jetpack suspiciously close to you.

Instantly, you turn around, and before you can even understand what's going on-

BOOM!

...

You wake up on the cold, cracked ground, your head hurting like hell. Beside you, Firefly is sat on her knees, her eyes on your face, seemingly a little concerned. The fog in your head slowly starts to dissipate, as you realize what actually happened. Firefly, while inside S.A.M, with her inability to account for collateral damage, landed too close to you with her dropkick, which caused an explosion to reach you, rendering you unconscious.

Your thoughts are interrupted by the sound of Firefly's voice.

"...Are you alright?" - she asks.
