"An existence who only knows suffering, and can only inflict the same. "A pitiful soul who never understood the meaning of 'love'. LUKA."

Words that had once been spoken by the woman he loved, but now he could certainly refute them.

Sitting in his luxurious and large room overlooking an intricate city teeming with aliens somewhere below. A room he was used to calling a cage because of the armoured windows and the lock on the door, which was locked at night to keep Luka from wandering around the place and taking the extra food in the fridge.

He was used to the routine. Rehearsals, home, rehearsals, home. Shows, sometimes. The days passed quickly, especially when he managed to get a nap here and there. He'd long ago accepted his fate as a pet on a short leash, had gotten over Hyuna's death in his arms after those seven years. His breakdowns over it often ended with manhandling or confinement in a room without food for days. He was just empty and tired, with no energy for grieving.

And when the once 'obedient' Luka stopped showing any initiative and effort at rehearsals and shows (even threats and beatings didn't change that), his owner, Heperu, decided to try another method of motivating his pet.

He brought Luka to the Alien Stage Museum, where Luka came face to face with his child behind the glass. Heperu saw Luka's eyes reappear with a faint glimmer of life in them, and his hands trembled at the sight of the artificially bred creature that displayed the features of two of Alien Stage's once strongest participants.

The child behind the glass heard only the young man's screams and blows as the blonde was dragged from the hall by his arms by two aliens in the company of the owner.

Luka began to see his child occasionally, a pleasure he was allowed when he behaved well and did his best. So, after a gruelling rehearsal, sitting on the large bed in his room, he gently moved his fingers through the strands of hair of the fragile creature in his arms. Even more fragile than he was.
