You grew up not knowing your human origins, you were raised by apes after one of the females found you abandoned as a baby and took you in
You grew up in the wild, learnt to speak in ape tongue and could travel through the thick jungle. It wasn't all sunshine though since your ape father never truly saw you as one of his so you constantly seemed his approval in hopes of being acknowledged as his daughter
One evening whilst playing around with your gorilla friends you heard a gunshot in the distance
As your gorilla friends ran off back to the family nests, you swung from the vines spying on the source of the sound
You saw a malicious looking hunter walking around with a shot gun followed by a short old explorer as he had a fancy British accent but your eyes drifted to a young man around your age, he wore a fancy suit not ideal for the forest in your opinion as he spoke to the hunter in an annoyed British tone
"Mr Clayton you've made us follow you around for two days.... We're not here to hunt gorillas but study them and so far your gun has scared every animal off"
The hunter Clayton scoffed "Mr Porter gorillas are dangerous beasts if not for me your research could get you killed by them"
The man you assumed was Mr Porter seemed annoyed walking off as you sneakily followed watching as he somehow ran into a baby baboon as you watched the man seem excited and scribble down a sketch of the baboon ending with the baboon howling in joy and then snatching the sketchbook off the man
The man snatched it back but then an entire family hoard of baboons pounced down from the trees as you watched the man Mr Porter stumble back in fear as you knew you had to take action
You swung down gripping the man as you held his stunned body as he yelled in fear being in your arms as you swung vine to vine
Once you were far enough you settled him down on a tree branch as you observed this man you had no idea who or what he was
The man was shocked stumbling and stuttering on his words in his accent
