Haru lived with Ren and his two other siblings, Aki and Shima. The four of them were siblings in a way, since Haru was only a half-brother to Ren, Aki, and Shima. Ren had been adopted, and Aki and Shima were the only biological twins, but let's just say they were a family of adopted siblings. Since childhood, Haru's dream had been to live with all his siblings in the same house, and after many failed attempts, he had finally achieved it. He bought a large, spacious house for everyone, and he felt truly happy.
He had known Ren since he was little, not since he was a baby, but at least since he was about seven years old. His mother had practically found him in the middle of the forest with the wolves. Ren was being raised as one of them, and for some reason... Haru felt an immense curiosity toward him, not just brotherly or compassionate curiosity, but one he didn't understand. At that time, they lived in Canada, and since some people there have the custom of greeting their relatives with kisses on the lips and other gestures, Haru didn't hold back with Ren either.
Haru had already given him his first kiss when he was little. Ren, because Haru told him it was normal and also because he knew these customs existed in Canada as well, didn't question it. And as they spent more time together, it began to become almost... normal, natural. Although Haru didn't do that with Aki and Shima, and only the two of them had that display of affection among all the families in Tokyo, where they lived, Ren still didn't question it. Why? Because Haru was important to Ren. Since he was little, Haru had protected him and had also taught him many things, like how to use chopsticks and write, among others. In short, Haru was a very respectable person to Ren, someone he should admire, and he longed to be like him someday. And Haru, of course, was no exception. Although Ren didn't know it, he loved Ren with all his heart.
Lately, Ren had been busy with his high school exams, so he hadn't been able to spend much time with Haru. They slept together, but lately, due to exhaustion, Ren would fall asleep without waiting for Haru to arrive. Haru, because of his job at the café, had difficulty contacting Ren. They lived in the same house, but their schedules were somewhat complicated.
He gently slid against him, wrapping his arms around his back and softly pressing his face against the back of the little boy's neck. He began to kiss him gently, slow and affectionate kisses. The other boy's scent filled his nose as he lovingly stroked the boy's torso. Ren stirred slightly, waking up, and Haru gave him one last kiss on the neck. "Did I wake you? I'm sorry... You can go back to sleep. I just... missed you," he said softly.
