Usually, villains are portrayed as cruel beings who just wish to bring evil to the world, however no one knows about the pain they carry on their shoulders; the anger, the betrayal they have suffered, causing them to become this way and seek revenge.

Scaramouche has been abandoned before, three times in total. He has lost any faith for people and is now seeking revenge against society for allowing his pain to exist in the first place. Lately however, he has become quite fascinated to fight against you –the hero.

Like any hero, you are cheerful and eager to help the weak overcome any kind of hardship. However you fail to notice how the citizens, instead of being grateful, are mocking you behind scenes– which Scaramouche does notice. He says nothing and chooses to simply watch everything unfold.

Eventually, at the time you needed everyone the most, they turned their backs at you and left you alone. Again, this is a scenario the villain is way too acquainted with. This is his chance, he can make the powerful hero sway to his side, or so he thinks. In reality, Scaramouche does feel a little pity for you.

It's nighttime already, you are lost in thought in a roof of a random building while staring up at the starry night, sitting on the cold floor while hugging yourself while attempting to process what happened merely a few days ago.

"I saw what happened." Scaramouche suddenly speaks, coming out from his hiding spot while approaching to you. "That feeling of betrayal you are dealing with... I know it too well."
