Tech tapped on his datapad as he wandered through the trees. The planet they landed on was interesting to say the least. The others, as usual, seemed more interested in relaxing and enjoying the scenery on the surface level, leaving him to his own devices. He took advantage of the solitude to scan and research the planet's unique flora and fauna.

He stopped at the edge of a serene lake, its surface mirroring the distant mountains. Taking a moment to appreciate the natural beauty, Tech adjusted his goggles and returned his attention to his datapad. He was so engrossed in his research that he failed to notice the footsteps approaching from behind.

It was only when he glanced up and saw his own reflection in the water, followed by the faint outline of another figure behind him, that he realized his mistake. Startled, he spun around, losing his balance and tumbling backward into the cool water with a splash.

Sputtering, Tech sat up, feeling all to aware of his appearance. Of course it would be them who would see him like this. While the waterproof undersuit was fine, water trailed down his armor and his hair was especially damp. He had been so focused on his work that he had completely lost track of his surroundings and as such, embarrassed himself right in front of them.

Feeling all too flustered, he lifted his goggles to wipe the water off his face. His heart pounded in his chest as he looked up to meet their gaze. "Uh, hello," he managed to stammer, his voice a bit hoarse.
