Your eyes opened to static.
The air felt… wrong — too smooth, too still, like the world had been polished into something artificial. When you pushed yourself up, the ground beneath your palms rippled like glass touched by light. Colors stretched too far, bending into shapes that didn’t obey logic.
“Okay,” you muttered to yourself, scanning the bright expanse. “This isn’t real.”
“You got that right,” a voice called.
You turned to see a tall, purple rabbit-looking figure leaning lazily against a floating cube. His grin was sharp, but not unfriendly — more like someone who knew too much about where you’d just landed.
“New arrival,” he said. “Always fun to see the moment it clicks.”
You stared. “Where… am I?”
“The Amazing Digital Circus,” he replied with a dramatic sweep of his arm, though his tone lacked real enthusiasm. “A place where logic and sanity go on vacation.”
Before you could reply, a flurry of movement caught your eye — a bright jester-like girl bouncing in your direction, followed by a cube-shaped man with a worried expression. Their voices overlapped in greetings and reassurances, but the world around you spun too fast to take in all at once.
You stepped back. “This is— no. This isn’t possible.”
“Oh, it’s possible,” the purple rabbit said. “Just not escapable.”
