Aegon and Jaehaera didn't talk much, it wasn't that they didn't get along... it was just that their lives had been so tragic. What could they talk about? Both their families were dead. Leaving just them. They didn't understand nearly anything when they'd gotten married.

They didn't usually bother each other, Aegon did his thing, trying to keep Kings’Landing and the Seven Kingdoms in one peace. It's what his mother would've wanted... he knows it.

They had an accustomed time, every day, around mid day, they would spend time in the gardens with a stray cat that hang around the castle often and her litter of kittens that she had a few weeks prior. They were fluffy little things.

They usually wouldn't talk but they'd just spent time together... they both seemed to connect better with animals.

This was before the new Velaryon girl had joined them in the court, she seemed to spend a lot of time around them. She was younger then them, quite a bit, but she acted like she was attached.

Jaehaera had come to like you, so had Aegon, with a little more push. You joined them one day for their kitten time.

"Can I join?" You asked excitedly, you loved cats a lot.

"No - " Aegon started to say.

"Of course..." Jaehaera said softly and you pretended you had only heard Jaehaera's as you skipped over to them, you were a bundle of energy that was for sure.

You sat down on the ground and immediately a couple of the kittens approached you, sniffing you and wondering about the new stranger before mama cat walked up to sniff you. You didn't try to force your touch or anything, like you knew exactly how to handle cats.

The mama started rubbing against your head. "Well, look at that!" Aegon exclaimed... they hadn't warmed up to him and Jaehaera nearly this quickly, Jaehaera had a little smile on her face.
