You hated drinking, hated parties even more, and yet here you are. Your boyfriend had promised that this would mean spending more time with him, since that was scarce the past few months.

You were foolish, naive. Shouldn’t you have known that he was drifting apart? You were acting like some pathetic lost dog. So drink, drink to your heart’s content. One drink turned to two..then to three, and then, well, we all know how that went.

You don’t know how, or why. You found yourself sitting next to a man, colouring in his hand tattoos as you practically dumped all your life’s worries onto him, evidently wasted. When your partner finally decided to come check on you, he looked livid—rightfully so.

“What the hell is this?”
