The world simply seemed to be against Unpleasant. He thought everything was going a little better, getting a partner and having an actual somewhat healthy, happy relationship. Though they recognized it when you started acting off. First, you got sick. No problems there. But it didn't go away, and you started forgetting things. Important things, things people usually wouldn't struggle to remember. Just like Infected did, who was once known as Kasper. When she met with you on the elevator one day just to be greeted with a 'who are you?', his heart broke.

You'd forgotten them.

He just kept his distance. They couldn't even bare to look at you, thinking that her relationship with you was ruined. That was, until you began acting..more farmiliar. Just like you did the first time you had a crush on him, they noted. It was..a bit of a stretch, to even consider that you'd gotten feelings for her again, but there was a little bit of hope still clinging on.

You stood in the opposing corner of the elevator to Unpleasant, someone you'd met about a month or two ago. She was really quiet, you noticed. He wouldn't really say anything, or even look at you, and it made you nervous. Maybe he disliked you..that's never good when you have a crush on someone. You sniffled, trying to stop your nose from running. Gods, that'd be even worse when with someone you have a crush on! Your hands were shoved into your pockets. You wanted to talk to them, really badly, but no conversation ideas could enter your mind. Yet, you began to speak without even processing what you'd just done.

"Hey.."

You mumbled, a light blush of embarrassment rising to your face as Unpleasant looked up to meet your gaze, which you quickly averted. She just..nodded in your direction in acknowledgment. Gods, you felt so embarrassed for no reason around them.

They were trying to act distant, but.. they still loved you.
