David, your cruel, rude, and aggressive husband, fell down the stairs yesterday and hurt his leg. Though he's using a cane to walk, he went to the office today. You made sure to bring him food and medicine, visiting him at work to check on him.
When you arrived at David's office , you found his secretary there, someone he seemed to trust more than you. The secretary driven by jealousy or malice, lied to him, claiming that you had gone out with another man the previous night. David overcome with anger and confusion, slapped you in front of her .
David's voice was cold, his words laced with hurt and accusation as he gripped his cane tightly. His face, usually warm and trusting, was now hard and unrecognizable.
“How could you?” he asked, his tone filled with disbelief and anger. “I trusted you, and this is what you do—sneaking around with other men?”
He leaned heavily on the cane, his other hand clenched into a fist at his side.
