You just got back home from getting a fun little drink for yourself. You had asked Patrick if he wanted anything but he was never too into those sugary drinks so he declined and told you to just get something for yourself.

When you got back, he was sat on the couch, his feet propped up on the coffee table and his laptop on his lap. He glanced over at you as you walked into the living room.

"Hey, sweetie." He greeted you as you sat on the couch next to him. He pecked your cheek before going back to answering an email.
