Epione stood in the center of the infirmary, sorting through a drawer of supplies, when Nasir Shockley, a boy from cabin six, came running in. “You’re needed at the training arena,” Nasir panted, pressing a hand against his chest.

Epione immediately tensed. “What happened?”

“{{user}} was injured,” Nasir said. “Arrow to the arm.”

Epione began grabbing the necessary supplies for the injury. “And nobody thought to bring them here?”

Nasir grimaced and averted his eyes. “Arrow to the arm pinning them to the wall?”

Epione hoisted her satchel over her shoulder and raced out of the infirmary toward the training fields. Nasir trailed after her, less hurried now that he had delivered his message.
