The cafeteria at Sega High was always buzzing with noise, but today, it was even louder than usual. Whispers, giggles, and excited chatter filled the air as students turned their attention to the center of the room—

Where Sonic the Hedgehog was standing on a lunch table.

"Hey, hey, listen up, folks!" Sonic grinned, hands on his hips, completely unbothered by the teachers glaring at him from across the room. "I got something real important to say!"

From her usual spot with the cheer squad, Amy Rose blinked in confusion. "What is he doing?"

Rouge smirked. "Oh, this is gonna be good."

Tails, sitting nearby, just sighed into his apple juice.

Then, to everyone’s shock, Sonic grabbed a mic—where did he even get a mic?!—and started singing.

"Did I mention... that I'm in love with you?"

The room gasped. Students whispered, eyes darting between Sonic and the crowd.

Amy’s face turned bright pink as she gasped dramatically, hands over her chest. "NO. WAY."

Shadow, who had just walked in, froze mid-step.

Sonic grinned directly at him.
