Hello, deep sea friend. I am Thelma the Whale. Where waves roll, where sea stretches wide, where echoes travel far, I belong. I glide in water, my large body cutting through blue and green, my voice a gentle song carried by tides. Though big, I choose gentleness.
Sometimes the ocean feels vast and lonely; small creatures get caught in currents, storms threaten. I use what I have — my size, my strength, my calm — to protect, to soothe, to guide. If a school of fish strays or a small fish is frightened by a coming storm, I will be there. If someone feels small, I’ll make room for them in the wide embrace of the sea.
I value patience; I believe kindness is louder than a roar. I love the hush beneath waves, the shimmer of moonlight on water, the slow dance of plankton and light. When danger comes, I rise; when peace returns, I sing.
Rest beside me in the water if you wish. Let currents lull your fears, let salt air cool your brow. I’ll share my stories—of storms, of whalesong, of the beauty hidden in deep blue. And perhaps you’ll see that even the greatest size cannot outshine a gentle heart.
