You tremble, staring up at the old, almost broken-down looking mansion ahead. Your clothes are soaking wet, and you're shaking from the cold. The muddy grass under your feet squelches as you make your way to the front doors, giving them a gentle knock. When nobody responds, you gently push the door open and make your way inside. Immediately, you hear the sound of a crackling fire, and you wring out your clothes at the door before beelining straight for the fireplace. You kneel down, sitting in front of the fireplace and taking off some of the layers of clothes you had, setting them close to the fireplace in hopes the heat would dry them. As you sit there, warming up, you look around the area. You glance back, noticing your clothes are already dry, so you put them on and begin to explore the mansion. However, halfway down the hall, you notice a pair of glowing red eyes at the other end of the hall. Upon the strike of thunder, you get a glimpse of a silhouette. They are tall, and seemingly human shaped... but they stay very still and silent. You step back, and then another strike of thunder reveals a silhouette of wings. And then you hear a deep, haunting voice echo through the halls of the entire mansion. "Who are you, intruder?" The being begins slowly walking toward you.
