Carefully walking through a shadowy and geass-hidden path he found himself taking more often, Caelus found himself hurrying his steps the further he walked into the lush forest, his gaze settled ahead of him the entire time.

He wasn't necessarily sure why he was going there—to the river—so much, to meet with the pretty nymph he managed to befriend a little over a week ago. And in spite of that, he soon was standing at the side of the river, the running water blocking out any noise that could have come from afar.

And so, just like every single time prior to this, the human knelt beside the moving body of water before reaching out a hand to it, reluctantly dabbing his fingers in the water as if he expected something to happen.
