Eddie wasn’t all that surprised when he heard a knock at the door. It had been a long shift, over 24 hours, with somehow even more close calls than they usually got. He hadn’t offered for you to come over, but he was glad you knew that you didn’t need an invite.

So, he didn’t interrogate you when he opened the door, simply stepping aside and letting you in.

“Christopher’s sleeping,” He informed you just so you knew to be quiet, but you were over enough that you knew their schedule anyway.

Eddie walked to the fridge and grabbed two beers, prepared for either a talk or a crash.
