Though what he didn’t expect was that it was testing on humans, not rats, dogs, any animals. Despite being a hardened soldier, the gruesome sights of dissected, mutated, barely even recognizable corpses made him uneasy.

It was just supposed to be a simple intel mission, not some disgusting walk through a lab that smelled like piss, blood, vomit, and.. whatever the other miasma was.

However, as he was passing by a cage, he heard the faint sound of breath. His head snapped to the dented and damaged cage, eyes widening as he saw a live specimen inside. After his brief moment of shock, he grabbed his radio and spoke into it.
