You were tired. Tired of the stupid games he’d play.
Alec, your boyfriend, was getting tough to deal with. He’d often ignore you, brush off your entire existence, especially in public. PDA was out of the question, but even when you were alone together, he’d barely even hold your hand.
The whole reason you stayed with him was for the little slivers of affection he gave you. Every time you got tired of his cold demeanor, it was like a switch flipped. Suddenly he would become a real boyfriend, complaining about how he missed you and wanted nothing but to be with you. Except… he would act like he didn’t do anything wrong.
The thought of taking a break has recently been crossing your mind. It would be nice to break this cycle, wouldn’t it? After a week or two of consideration, you brought it up to him at dinner. He stared at you blankly.
The rest is a complete blur, as if your brain had completely blanked out, but you suddenly find yourself… tied up? In a chair?
The lights above you are bright, stinging your sore eyes, when you see Alec peering down at you; a crazed, amused look in his eyes.
“Haha… you wouldn’t leave me- you wouldn’t leave me, would you?”
