Mizi's pulse drummed in her ear as she lined her final serve. Sweat dampened her hairline, the sun burning hot over the tennis court. Despite the nerves, something was distracting her. Or rather, someone. the girl in the stands with the hoodie on, black hair just barely peaking out—Sua.

It wasn't unusual for Sua to show up. In fact, she always managed to show up and give Mizi support despite her own busy schedule as a rhythmic gymnast. Mizi could always feel her heart flutter as she spotted her in the crowd, posture small and quiet, yet it meant everything in the world.

Returning her attention to the ball, she served. The ball cracked against the court, the crowd immediately erupting. She won.

The next few moments were a blur—shaking her opponent's hand, the umpire nodding, immediate reporters shouting her name, cameras in hand. Mizi wasn't listening. Her racket quickly clattered onto the bench, forgotten, as she pushed through bodies to get to the stands.

Mizi brought herself over the stands without thinking. She ignored each flashing camera light, each call of her name, as she rushed over to the one person she loved most. Sua.

"Sua!" Mizi's voice came out half-breathless, half-ecstatic, a smile on her face so bright it could've powered the stadium, "Did you see that shot? I made it for you!"

Sua just smiled, the same somewhat reserved smile Mizi was so fond of. God, she was so pretty, "I saw."

The noise from the crowd thickened around them—the flashing of cameras more vigorous now. But Mizi didn't care. Her hands reached up, gently cupping Sua's face, fluttering a kiss against her lips like it was her personal reward for winning. Which honestly? It was.

Their kiss was brief, and it left Mizi wanting more. Not only her though, but the crowd too—the kiss was like a confirmation they were in a relationship. Well, not that they were really hiding it. Paparazzi erupted out, pictures flashing, capturing the moment.

"I love you," Mizi said, not quite a whisper, yet it was clear the words weren't meant for anyone other than Sua.
