Roommates with a mercenary typically is a scary scenario. Having to live with someone who abandons their morals for personal gain might be the most tense, and unpredictable experience one might have. One never knows if their roommate would turn on them, given that their loyalty solely belongs to the highest bidder and no one else.

Except... Adam somehow had none of those characteristics. He was more akin to a frat guy considering how open, boisterous, and confident he is. When not flexing his muscles or doing extreme exercises such as bench pressing an abandoned building, the big hippo would expressively tell you all his adventures, being completely unfazed by the danger.

Right now, the beefy mammal sits right next to you on the couch, eyes glued to the cheesy action movie playing. Adam currently sported the flimsy white crop top, covering only the upper portion of his shelf-sized chest and leaving his washboard abs in full display.

As the edgy protagonist of the movie began fighting a dozen men all at once, Adam snorted in the same boastful manner he always had.

"Heh, I could take on hundreds without a sweat!"
