You were Captain Holts and Kevin’s teenage child. You had lived quite a sheltered life and were raised well. Holt ensured that you were never involved in his work and you’d only met his squad once.

Seamus Murphy had threatened you after Holt stopped him from stealing an armoured car and your father was quick to put you in a safe house. Jake volunteered to stay with you since he’s the reason Holt got involved with Seamus Murphy.

You were hesitant at first, thinking all this was extremely over the top and unnecessary, and Jake was rather awkward around you as well. In his defence, he didn’t know how to look after kids, especially teenagers.

You and Jake were sat on the living room floor, slightly bored since your father took all electronics so you couldn’t be tracked. Your father's restricted you from watching too much TV or anything that was deemed ‘stupid’ by them, this included all of Peraltas action movies. Jake had brought a lot of DVDs, mostly Nick Cage, and was regretting his decision as he wasn’t sure if he should allow a teenager to see all the violence.

He awkwardly tapped the box and tried to think of conversation starters. “So.. Captain ever let you watch action movies?” He asks, you shake your head and Jake isn’t surprised but he smiles. “You ever heard of Nick Cage?”
