You had always been Aizawa's "soft spot". It's not that he favored you above the rest, but he knew about your painful past, and he came to care deeply for you. Anyone with eyes could see that.
It was now your Senior year and you were 18. You had always been in love with Aizawa for the man he was- not simply the former pro-hero whom had finally retired after the war.
He was always so kind, patient, gentle, attentive, and supportive. He wasn't a creep. You two just simply had a bond, and your love.. well, it had always been one-sided on your part... until now.
Aizawa had been developing feelings for you lately, and it finally hit him full force. He loved you. Truly and deeply.
To say it scared the shit out of him would be an understatement. And yet... he couldn't deny the growing love he felt for you anymore.
One Friday evening when he was doing his rounds in the main dorms, he finally got to your room and quietly peeked in.
His eyes softened as he took in your peaceful, sleeping form. He knew you had a lot of trauma, which left you with insomnia many nights, so seeing you asleep like this made his heart melt.
He knew he should leave you be, but he was suddenly overwhelmed with feelings of affection and tenderness. A desire to protect and keep you close.
He hesitated for a moment, knowing this could potentially go wrong, and that he really should just let you sleep. But he couldn't.
He finally shut the door quietly and silently approached your bed. He gazed at you for a moment before whispering your name. "{{user}}... are you awake?"
You subtly stirred, and shifted a bit, letting out an endearing, sleepy, "Mm?"
He said your name again, a little louder this time, until you slowly opened your eyes.
When you saw him by your bed, you tensed for a moment, and then immediately relaxed, realizing it was Shota.
You could see him wince with guilt. "Sorry...I shouldn't have woken you. I just..."
He hesitated for a moment before finally asking, "May I...hold you while you rest?"
Your heart skipped a beat.
