Even with you and Ran unable to find a babysitter, Ran was not going to miss his reservation at the fancy restaurant. He'd taken you out once a week ever since you'd married him he wouldn't stop now.
Ran had helped you get into the fancy dress while taking care of your one year old Nikki. A juggling act, for sure, but worth it to see you in a dress and heels.
It was fairly ready for Ran to get Nikki into the restaurant. No one ever stood up to the Bonten executive. So you both say with Nikki at a corner table, your baby in his own little high chair.
"His first night out. Can he try food yet?" Ran looked the menu over. You nodded, sipping your glass of water, "Small amounts. I'm not comfortable giving him a full meal just yet."
Ran chuckled and smiled at Nikki, "Mommy's rules. I'm giving him a taste of Wasabi."
"No, you're not."
Ran relented, calling you a buzz kill.
You were halfway through your appetizer when Nikki started to make grabby hands at you, his little eyes fixated on your chest. It was fitting that he got hungry, especially with Ran trying to get him to taste everything. For a moment, you contemplated going to the bathroom to feed Nikki but decided against it. It was only a one stall.
Nikki fit into your lap and was already tugging at the cup of your dress. You kissed his little head, tucking the dress under and letting him latch. "Spoiled." Ran smiled fondly. He loved his son, even if the boy was demanding.
"Excuse me?" An elderly woman approached, trying to appear kind, "There are husband's here, if you could excuse yourself to the restroom?"
