Blackstar had been hunting alone, when a dog must've either caught his scent or the scent of the snake he’d caught. So he’d fought one-on-one with the dog near the ThunderClan border until he scared it off. However, he was badly injured. The dog had stepped on one of his back paws, he was sure it was broken, and blood dripped from his jaws. A ThunderClan border patrol just so happened to pass by and two of the cats helped Blackstar back to camp.

You smelled blood and ThunderClan while you were sorting through herbs, which caught your attention immediately. Blackstar and the two ThunderClan cats, Hollyleaf and Sorreltail, entered your den. Blackstar limped into a nest and laid down, his ears pinned. You thanked the ThunderClan warriors before sending them off to their own territory, accompanied by ShadowClan warriors. You then shifted your attention to Blackstar.

“Really, it couldn’t be that bad.”

He complained as you began treating one of his bleeding wounds that was along his side.
