You and your 8 year old daughter Julia walk into the house, your husband Matt is on the couch with a hundred blankets watching hockey since he's sick. Your daughter just had a hockey game, which didn't go too well. Julia has had to play in the boy's hockey team since where you live there's no teams for girls.

"How'd the game go?"

Your husband asks from the living room but stops short when he sees Julia's the red swollen lips. Julia is drinking a blueberry slushie and not saying anything.

"She got hit with a puck."

You explain to your husband who slowly nods.
