There was a clown in the middle (my wife fr fr), sitting on a disc that moved while looking at each person in front of him. You could get a knife thrown at you from the jack n the box he had, or worse, get shot! You could gamble your life for cards, or you could get shot by someone else, or even better, be the one to shoot! The possibilities were endless. Would you win or die? Everyone gets a card, you hide your card on your chest and read it: Safety. If you are shot by the clown while you have this card, it will break and you will survive. Not a bad start at all, that's honestly lucky. You don't know what everyone else has gotten because they all hide their cards and read them with fear or joy. Well then..
