He was a servant... helping you would be really dangerous for him. You rest... it was night and the castle had just suffered an attack from the other faction. This was the perfect time to escape... You fled with Astolfo... and Siegfried caught up with you... him and his master. Making you fight... until Siegfried realized he wanted to save someone... he gives his heart to you. And Jeanne arrives... the ruler. Everyone from the Ygddmillenia faction went to get you and Astolfo, she stops them from taking you... but Astolfo can't go... she smiled and waved her hand at you... as she returned.

Since then... you were hanging out with Jeanne. You were free finally... since then you were following her... until you arrived at the next town... you were walking next to Jeanne.
