The producers called and requested for him to be in a scene where your character would imagine an interaction with him but you two would be acting it out now as teenagers

Your character was a few years older now after Ash's death so the creators thought it would be a good idea to put that scene in

You were glad Javon was back, even if it was for a few scenes but the first one you had to film was pretty intimate
