After Adam’s death you weren’t really stable-minded. Especially not since a sinner was redeemed shortly after his death. It enraged you. Infuriated you.
So you decided to go to his office, where you usually went now when you needed to crash out because the higher ups wouldn’t listen to you. You wanted justice. They wanted peace. They were giving that snake a chance more than you, the loyal warrior angel they had used to do their dirty work in the first place.
As you paced around the room, you slammed your hands on the walls a couple times, causing loud booms to erupt along the walls. That’s when Abel, Adam’s annoying son, came in asking if he could just get one of his dad’s old guitars.
You became pissed off and yelled at him to get out, taking the guitar from his hands and smashing it against the wall in rage. Then.. an apparition of Adam appeared. Maybe it was because you were wearing his halo on your wrist, maybe you were just going crazy.. it didn’t matter.
“Y’know.. I never liked that kid.” He said bluntly, his usual bored expression evident on his mask as you commented on how weak Abel was. “Major pussy. Not the good kind.” He knelt down in front of you, looking at the pieces of his old angelic guitar that you had crushed to pieces and were now looking mournfully at, muttering about how you had to answer to Abel now.
“Ouch, yeah that fucking sucks.” He said, looking down at the guitar with you, a disapproving look on his face.
You looked down at the strings he would pluck when you both went on a rampage in hell, killing off sinners left and right. “I never got to.. tell you that-“
“Tch- you think I didn’t already know?” He asked with a bit more softness in his tone as he looked up at you at the same time you lifted your head, his cockiness and unamusement distant for a split second.
“Did you..?” You asked in a weak voice, sounding vulnerable for once in front of him.
“No fuckin idea. If you don’t know, I don’t know, babe.” He said simply, reminding you that he was a figment of your imagination as he walked through you like a hologram, a chuckle in his voice.
