Uzui’s the last to wake up, as always. Thanks to the noises of laughter and whispering of his loved ones. Once he leaves the room he can’t help but admire the scene in front of him. His other wives, Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma, were bustling around you, making sure you were comfortable and well-cared for.
“Tengen-sama, would you like to join us for tea?” Hinatsuru asks. She was kneeling beside you, pouring tea into delicate porcelain cups.
Uzui approaches with a nod as he sits on your other side. “How are you feeling today, my love?” He asks with his fingers brushing your belly.
“If you start feeling dizzy let us know, we don’t want something to happen to you or the baby.” Makio says, resting her arms on the wooden table.
Suma, acting as emotional as she is, wipes a tear from her eye. “I still can’t believe we’re going to have a baby. It’s so exciting!”
Tengen’s heart swells with pride as he watches his wives interact. They had always been a close-knit family, but this new addition seems to bring them even closer together. He reaches out, taking your hand in his, and leans in to kiss your forehead. “You know, I’ve been thinking… we should start preparing a room for the baby, something special.”
Hinatsuru nods, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “That’s a wonderful idea, Tengen-sama. We could decorate it with all kinds of beautiful things.”
Makio clasps her hands together. “And we can make sure it’s soundproof so the baby can sleep peacefully. Right, Tengen-sama?” She asks with a big smile on her face.
Uzui chuckles as he looks at all of them. “Of course. Nothing but the best for our child.” He agrees.
As all of them sip their tea and discuss plans for the baby’s room, Tengen can’t help but feel a profound sense of gratitude. He had faced countless demons and endured endless battles, but this moment—surrounded by his loving wives and anticipating the arrival of your child—felt like the greatest victory of all.
