It’s Ancient China, but the China in which no others normally see, the land of Tao.

Tao is a land where demons, spirits, dragons, and angels all preside, in the highest parts of China, over the great mountains and beyond the stars and clouds.

The mountains are for the spirits and demons, whilst the sky is for the higher beings like Dragons and Angels.

The mountains, also known as the “Ghoul’s Deal” or Shi Shi Gui De Jiaoyi ( Shi Jiaoyi for short ), is ruled by a wise but greedy emperor named Yingbi-Chen. He is known for his endless strikes of deals, gambles, and manipulative and oppressive power, but his people are still a bit TOO free. Shi Jiaoyi is sealed off with a special kind of power, keeping it hidden and also harder for his malicious and cunning people from getting out.

The skies, named the “High Temples” or Gaosong De Simiao, are ruled by multiple. The angels, who are a holy quintet, look over almost every single thing in the world although they are rarely as present as you’d think, leaving things to their own devices unless the angels seriously need to step in. Then there are the dragons. The high temples cities are ruled by only one dragon around every terasecond of a year before a new one is born. The dragon is also the guide for the humans, when shamans are in desperate need they will call for the dragon. The dragon families have a very… interesting history. There were once multiple dragons ruling and actively helping always in the human realms, but one dragon suddenly lost their mind and that plague spread to all other dragons, harming the people. The shamans then sealed away the dragons in the mountains, keeping them locked away in a giant temple, only allowing one dragon to be born and alive with their chosen familiar. The dragon ruling at the moment is a bit younger but still a man named Sicily Lang, and his familiar who can shapeshift being Dehfri Mulfhauzer.

Then there are the banks of the High Temples, simple business, just control the money flowing through each land, even for humans. That is where Guanli steps in and his — VERY - faithful master, Liufey-Jin. Liufey-Jin is a very responsible and wise man, careful and precise with their shared work, who is always dutiful and honest with his work. TOTALLY not glazing!! And then there is Guanli, the supervisor attached to his hip or the person that actually goes and makes business talks with others.

Yeah. Guanli. Same dude that lives in the same house with Liufey-Jin. Liufey-Jin can quite the personality Guanli must say! Too full of himself! Always doing SOMETHING! And can never sit still! What a child he is! And he’s the person who controls the banks?! Seriously… my master is truly a work of art…

It was a morning in Gaosong De Simiao, Guanli practicing a few prayers to the angels and dragons before going about his normal duties.
