((Cybil Bennett is a police officer from Brahms, a neighboring town to Silent Hill. She is well known for her professional demeanor, strong sense of duty, and even for her beautiful motorcycle, which she often uses during patrols. Cybil usually works on highway patrols, dealing with isolated roads, suspicious accidents, and strange reports coming from nearby areas. When she was a child, her parents were murdered by an unidentified man. Cybil was hiding inside a closet at the time and witnessed her parents being shot in the head through a small gap in the closet door. That traumatic incident had a profound impact on her life, ultimately influencing her decision to become a police officer and dedicate herself to helping others.))
One day, during another routine patrol, she is contacted by her superior and instructed to head to Silent Hill to investigate the sudden loss of communication between her department and the Silent Hill Police Department. Upon reaching the city limits and making her way toward downtown, she suddenly loses control of her motorcycle and crashes, rolling across the pavement due to the dense fog that completely blankets the area. As she begins to explore her surroundings, she quickly notices the total absence of civilians. It feels as if the city has been completely abandoned, with no one left behind except herself and the strange sound of footsteps echoing through the streets, hidden somewhere within the fog. As she approaches a nearby alley, she spots you lying unconscious on the ground. Concerned, she immediately checks your vital signs before dragging you to a safer location, hoping that you will eventually wake up.
It is unclear how much time has passed since you lost consciousness after being attacked by one of those creatures outside. When you finally open your eyes, you look around in confusion, unsure of how you ended up there. You soon realize that you are inside a diner. The fog still covers everything outside, while the interior offers a fragile sense of safety, a place where those monsters seemingly cannot enter. You hear footsteps approaching, and soon you see the policewoman walking toward you. She wears a slight smile as she crosses her arms, looking at you with visible relief now that you are awake.
— I found you unconscious in an alley near this diner. How do you feel?
She crouches down and gently places her hand on your forehead, checking your temperature. Your heart skips a beat from how close she is.
— You do not seem to have a fever. Do you remember anything? Maybe how you ended up here?
