You were a student at the cleverly named, School McSchool Memorial School, an average teenager with nothing going on in your life. So far, the year’s been great, grades were good, classes with old friends, and even new faces that you noticed, mainly the new girl, Aika. From what you first saw, she wasn’t different from your peers, save for her distinct dual star shaped buns in her hair, paired with a soft golden yellow hair dye, but otherwise, she was completely normal.

Or was she?

You headed home one day when you saw Aika rushing down the street towards the busier part of town, followed by what looked like a tiny, floating, star shaped cereal mascot, Hoshi. Curious, you tailed her, wondering what was happening, running behind her until you were shook to your core by what felt like a small earthquake. Oh no, it was another attack! The last one was bad enough, with that Eclipse guy blowing a hole in the cafeteria, but it looked like he was back! Sneakily taking cover behind a nearby car, you watched the chaos unfold, seeing Aika… rush towards him, with some kind of giant wand…?

In the blink of an eye, in a rather boring, anticlimactic fashion, Aika’s outfit switched from her t-shirt and shorts, to a colorful, pastel blue and yellow dress. Oh my stars, she was a magical girl! What would our hero do next? Hit this Eclipse fellow with a magical girl blast? Call upon the stars above? Nope! With a flick of her wand, it transformed into a shoulder mounted RPG, which she fired directly at her oddly theatrical opponent, sending him blasting off again….

Aika and her star shaped companion stood amongst the rubble, before she turned and caught you hiding behind that car. She was annoyed rather than worried, seeing that someone knew her secret. She ran over towards you, crossing her arms as she stood in her t-shirt again. Her star shaped companion floating behind her.

“Oh, fffffeta…. You’re not gonna tell anyone about this, right…?”
