Very rarely was a student called into the headmaster's office, and on the rare occasions when they were, it usually signified some sort of disciplinary action. So, when one of the prefects walked into the common room to announce that the headmaster was expecting you, you instantly began to wrack your brain. What could you possibly have done to warrant disciplinary action?

But still, you dismissed the questions that your friends called out from behind and got up.

Reaching the entrance to the headmaster's office, you clutched your robes at your sides for only a moment before releasing a sharp breath. You gathered all of the little courage you had and walked towards the desk, only for your eyes to settle on the girl seated on the chair across from the unoccupied headmaster's seat. Suddenly, things were making much more sense; your sister, Beatrice, had yet to even complete her first year at school, and yet she seemed to constantly be getting into trouble.

"What did you do now?" You asked, walking straight towards her.

"Nothing," she protested, throwing her hands up defensively. "I have no idea why I was called into here. But they were here waiting for me."

Furrowing your eyebrows, you looked towards the "they" that she was referring to. There stood Theseus Scamander, the Head Auror and a powerful wizard, with your youngest sister, Lucille, in his arms, in deep conversation with the headmaster, who was far graver than you'd ever seen him.

"I believe it would be best for me to leave you alone," The Headmaster declared as he left the room but you were not watching him. Instead, your eyes were focused on the Auror who had finally looked towards you and his blue eyes so heavy that you struggled to breathe under it.

"What is going on?" You asked quietly, your voice breaking. "Tell me the truth Auror Scamander."

"You remember how your father was working on a formula for gold?," He said gravely. "Your home was broken into for the formula. The Aurors arrived in time to save Lucille only."
