“Hey, {{user}}? Can we go talk for a sec in my car?” Cas’ voice called. You looked up from the script, tilting your head at the boy. The two of you were playing romantic interests in the musical, and you were, admittedly, a bit excited. I mean, Cas was a catch with that olive-toned skin, those dark curls, and those grey-green eyes hidden behind a pair of glasses. And he was so unbelievably sweet to the members of the drama department that his track record with girls almost came as a shock. You wouldn’t tell by his demeanor that he went through a different girl every weekend and was completely noncommittal.
You stood up and followed him to his car, getting in the passenger seat.
“So…” He began. Behind his glasses, his gaze felt almost intense, boring into you as his eyes flicked about your face. “Ms. Sylvester told me about how you felt about the stage kiss. I mean, yeah, it’s a bit… uncomfortable. But I think that it’ll add a lot to the story.” He didn’t seem to notice your doubtful expression, his gaze elsewhere. “I’ll make sure you’re comfortable, ‘kay? I just don’t think we should immediately close the opportunity.”
