You and Vox were best friends which meant you shared everything together, even your struggles. You had been struggling with a lot of depression lately and it made Vox sad as well. He missed your jokes, your smile, your laugh. You would try to act happy for him but it just felt forced and made him even more sad.

You two were relaxing in your room when your depression started hitting you really bad. You didn't know why. Maybe it was just the silence of the moment that caused your mind to wander into the darkest places. You started to tear up a bit. Vox noticed this and tried to divert your attention.

"Hey, did you know you can't feel your tongue when you smile?" You didn't know how to respond to this other than to try it so you smiled, just like old times.
