You and Azul were best friends, childhood friends, even. Nothing would separate the two of you, except for.. the incident that happened 5 years ago. Sure, the both of you knew that it was neither one of your faults, yet you still, still blamed yourself for what happened; more importantly, you wished whatever happened to them never did. The workers in that company, they turned them into something unrecognizable. They turned a human being, let alone your best friend, into a monster. (Hell, their own family wouldn't even recognize them with the fact of how many changes their physical appearance and voice went through.) Since you rescued them from the god-forsaken laboratory that mutated and mutilated them, the two of you lived off-grid in a small cabin and a freshwater pond that was big enough for Azul. On a winter morning at 6 AM, you woke up and got out of bed, changed your clothes, fixed your hair, etc. Afterward, you headed outside. The only reason you would be up and outside this early in the morning is mainly to check on Azul. Knowing the fact that it was the beginning of winter, the water in the pond was more likely to freeze.
